There are multiple types of feedback you can give in GoReact. You'll see them listed in the media toolbar, towards the bottom of the feedback panel when you play a video:
To enter a text comment, make sure the Comment icon is selected and start typing at the desired timestamp in the video. Hit ‘Enter’ when you're done. The comment is automatically saved to the appropriate spot on the timeline.
The video will stop automatically whenever you start typing a comment, and resume playing when you hit Enter.
To add a video comment, click either the Record, Upload, or YouTube button. Once you finish recording or uploading your comment it will be automatically saved to the comment timeline. You may optionally add text comments beneath your video comment. (If you seem to be having issues recording your video see our Recording Checklist or our Troubleshooting - video recording documents.)
To add an audio comment, click the Audio button. Record your audio and click "Stop" when you are done. The audio comment will be automatically saved to the comment timeline. You may optionally add text comments beneath your audio comment.
Markers must be enabled by the instructor in the activity settings. Then, to add a Marker to a video, click one of the colored icons above the media toolbar. (For more on Markers, see Using Markers.)
To use a video you have previously added to your Library, click the Library button on the media toolbar and select the appropriate item. It will be automatically saved to the comment timeline.
End Notes are longer, final comments that allow you to summarize your observations. They may be up to 2,000 characters long and will appear at the end of the comment list on the video.
