There are multiple types of feedback you can give in GoReact. When you play a video, you'll see these feedback options listed in the media toolbar, towards the bottom of the feedback panel on the right.
To enter a text comment, make sure the Text icon is selected. Then start typing at the desired timestamp in the video. The video will stop playing when you start typing a comment and resume playing when you hit "Enter." All comments are automatically saved to the appropriate spot on the timeline.
To add a video comment, click either the "Video," "Upload," or "YouTube" buttons. Once you finish recording or uploading your comment it will be automatically saved to the comment timeline. You may optionally add text comments beneath your video comment. (If you seem to be having issues recording your video see our Recording Checklist or our Troubleshooting - video recording documents.)
To add an audio comment, click the "Audio" button. Record your audio and click "Finish" when you are done. The audio comment will be automatically saved to the comment timeline. You may optionally add text comments beneath your audio comment.
To add a Marker to a video, click any of the colored icons above the media toolbar. (For more on Markers, see Using Markers.)
PDFs and Images
To add a PDF or image comment click the "Upload" or "Library" buttons to select the desired file. PDFs and images can be used as pre-set responses for feedback on a video.
- PDF files can be a quick reminder for your students on how to master a particular skill, for example.
- Image files can be any supported static image or animated gif files, which can be used to 'show' the correct way to perform a skill.
End Notes are longer, final comments that allow you to summarize your observations. They may be up to 2,000 characters long and will appear at the end of the comment list on the video.
