Please Note
With the new GoReact dashboard, there is some new terminology. Note that Folder/Course, Activity/Assignment, Owner/Instructor, and Participant/Presenter are now interchangeable terms.
Setting up Live Review activities
To set up a "Live Review" activity, create a Standard activity, and select the "Allow live review" setting.
Then, any reviewers (including peers, if enabled) may simultaneously give real-time feedback on live recordings.
With this option enabled:
- Feedback can be given during the recording as well as after-the-fact.
- Owners are given the option to create "Awaiting Start" placeholders for each participant by clicking the "Create Videos" button.
Important Note
Clicking the "Create Videos" button will only create placeholders for currently enrolled participants. Please wait to click this button until all of your participants have joined the course. (If you have already clicked this button, you can still create new placeholders one by one, or you can reset it altogether by deleting all of the previous placeholders.)
Providing feedback on a Live Review session
Once a Live recording has begun, viewers can join the live stream to give feedback by clicking the "Join" button.
From there, feedback can be provided like normal. For more information on critiquing videos, please review our Critiquing Videos guide.
