This article is for Instructors. Click here for the student article.

Please note:

Beginning December 2022, some non-educational institutions will have different terminology used in their GoReact experience. The terms Folder/Course, and Activity/Assignment, and Score/Grade are interchangeable.

The Assignment Settings panel is where you set permissions and define how your Assignment will appear to your students. To enable or edit any of these settings, click the ellipses button ⋮ to the right of your assignment name and select "Edit Assignment" to open the Assignment Settings panel.  (These settings are also available when you are creating a new assignment.)

Due Date - The date the Assignment is due. GoReact will still allow submissions after the due date, but the submission date will be shown in red to indicate that it was late.  Please note that if you are using GoReact in an LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) then this setting is hidden (you will just set this in your LMS instead).

Grading & Evaluation - An assignment can be ungraded, or you can use either points possible or an instructor rubric for scoring.  Please note that if you are using GoReact in an LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.), this must match the value in the LMS in order for grade passback to work correctly.
