Administrator setup of GoReact in D2L

Initial admin setup

Note: You will need to contact GoReact Support  in order to receive the unique Key used when setting up GoReact in D2L/Brightspace. 

Also Note: Courses must be created before proceeding.

This document explains how to add the GoReact tool to a D2L platform. The D2L Administrator will need to do the initial installation and then instructors (or Admin) will be able to add assignments after that. Once you receive the unique Key from GoReact Support, please follow these instructions to get GoReact installed on your D2L platform:

A. Log in to Brightspace, select "External Learning Tools (LTI)" from the main menu. 
B. Click "Manage Tool Providers."
C. Select the "New Tool Provider" button.


D. In the "Launch Point URL" field enter
E. In the "Secret field," enter "goreact" (lowercase).
F. Make sure the custom "Tool Consumer Information" checkbox is checked.


G. You will need to contact GoReact Support to get your own unique Key for this field.
H. Under "Name", enter the specific name of your school or Organization.
I. Under "Description", enter "GoReact Integration with D2L" or any description you prefer.
J. Enter "" under the "Contact Email" field. 


K. Under "Security Settings," select all checkboxes.
L. Click "Add Org Units" and select courses as appropriate, click "Insert," then click "Save & Close."
